Who is Linda Winter? 

Linda Winter has been a professional artist and illustrator for the last 30 years. Her work is a response to environment  she lives in and her travels. In 2018 she relocated to Italy and her recent oil paintings reflect the light and vibrancy of her new environment. The paintings of Rouen cathedral by Monet have been particularly influential, as shown by the oil painting on the left.  

 On the right is a line and wash drawing of the same view in Padova. This work, also figurative shows the strong relationship between the oil painting. They document her journey from Padova Italy to Westray in the Orkney Islands, via London and Cornwall.

These drawings, much smaller than the oil works, still share Linda's love of colour and architecture.
